Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana was implemented by the central government under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. Under PMJDY scheme, financial assistance is given to women account holders.
Now, PMJDY women beneficiaries can get a special gift before Diwali. It is likely that once again the amount of Rs 1500 can be transferred to the accounts of Jan Dhan women account holders by the central government. As per the media reports, the Modi government may announce a third stimulus package for the poor and weak family members.
The government can once again announce the grant of funds and food grains under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY). People from poor and vulnerable families can get this facility by March 2021. It is to be noted that the government had transferred Rs 1500 in the account of more than 20 crore women Jan Dhan account holders in 3 months.
The government had announced to give food grains to about 80 crore poor families for free by June, which was extended till the end of November. Now once again the facility of giving food grains to millions of poor can be increased till March 2021. This facility will be given under Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Under this scheme, every member of poor families gets 5 kg of wheat or rice. Along with this, one kilo of gram dal is also given.
Required documents to open Jan dhan account:

You can submit documents fulfilling the requirement of Know Your Customer (KYC), such as Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, for opening an account-money account.

However, if there are no documents, you can open a small account. For this, you have to fill the self-attested photograph and your signature in front of the bank officer.

Remember that no fees or charges have to be paid for opening a Jan Dhan account.

Jan Dhan account can be opened by anyone 10 years of age or older.

Under the scheme, RuPay Debit Card is also provided along with overdraft facility.

Rs 1 lakh on Debit Card, Accident Insurance is available for free.

Funds can also be transferred directly to the beneficiaries of government schemes.

An overdraft facility of up to Rs 10000 is available in only one account per family, especially for the woman of the family.
