Dignitaries from Science World to Interact with 6000+ Students

Manohar Parrikar Vidnyan Mahotsav 2022 is about to host 17 International and National Scientists to interact with 6000+ students around 8 different venues in Goa.

The 4th Manohar Parrikar Vidnyan Mahotsav is all set to host 17 dignitaries from the world of science to kick off the festival in 8 different venues across Goa on the 13th of December. The Science festival was introduced four years ago in the memory of late Manohar Parrikar who served as the former Chief Minister of Goa until 2019.

The Department of Science, Technology, and Waste Management of the Government of Goa has been the organizing committee for the festival with Jose Manuel Noronha as the chairman. Dignitaries from Aeronautical Systems, DRDO; Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru; University of Coimbra, Portugal; National Chemical Laboratory, Pune; IIT, Kanpur and many more are to come to speak on topics like chemistry, physics, botany, agricultural sciences etc.

Last year, the festival was graced by the presence of dignitaries like Prof. Padmanabhan Balaramis Indian biochemist and former director of the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India; Prof. Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director –All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; Dr. K. Vijay Raghavan, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India and many more.
