Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) experienced dramatic weather on Friday morning as a sudden dust storm, accompanied by gusty winds and heavy rain, swept through the region. The intense downpour and thunderstorms disrupted daily life, causing traffic jams, waterlogging in several locations, and delays in flight operations.

Many residents took to social media to share visuals of the storm, posting videos that showed flooded roads, uprooted trees, and vehicles struggling to navigate through waterlogged streets.

Flight services at Delhi airport faced major disruptions as several flights were delayed or diverted due to reduced visibility and unstable weather. Airlines released travel advisories, urging passengers to verify their flight status before arriving at the airport. At the same time, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for Delhi and nearby regions, forecasting continued rainfall and thunderstorms for the next three days.
