Cyclone Biparjoy tearing the sky in Gujarat's Aravalli district and is all set to reach Saurashtra and Kutch. Cyclone Biparjoy will reach coasts in Pakistan near Jakhau Port between Mandvi and Karachi by the evening today. According to news reports, over 74000 persons have been evacuated from the coastal areas of Gujarat to escape the dire consequences.
The Indian Meteorological Department on Thursday tweeted these latest updates saying, "Cyclone Warning for Saurashtra and Kutch Coasts: RED MESSAGE. VSCS BIPARJOY at 0830IST today near lat 22.6N & long 67.1E, about 170km WSW of Jakhau Port (Gujarat) and 210km West of Devbhumi Dwarka. To cross near Jakhau Port (Gujarat) by the evening of today as VSCS."
Cyclone Biparjoy has created a catastrophic conditions in Gujarat. Gujarat and Mumbai have been severely affected by the cyclone, roads, and light poles, among other losses born by the cities.
