Amid the hue and cry on deadly Coronavirus across the globe, the government of India has initiated many precautions and issued alerts to prevent this deadly virus in India and rescue its citizens living abroad. So far ‘Coronavirus’ took lives of 106 people in China while over 100 people in Kerala and Maharashtra have been kept under observation following screening for possible exposure to novel coronavirus. However, the Health Commission in China's central Hubei province said that more than 80 people have died from the virus and 1,291 more people have been infected so far. Moreover, the coronavirus is spreading to America, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and India, and recently suspects in Sri Lanka.
Moreover, scientists are yet to discover the source, origin of this virus along with its vaccine which has increased the severity of the situation. However, farmers are the easiest target for Coronavirus as they constantly come in contact with wild animals, snacks, bat, birds, etc. which is suspected to spread the deadly virus in China.
Steps Taken by Government to Prevent Corona Virus

To ensure all-round safety, the Health Ministry has written to the Civil Aviation ministry to allow thermal screening of passengers arriving from China including Hong Kong at international airports situated in Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
Thermal screening at international airports will be initiated today according to the official press release. This request was made in keeping with the guidelines issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The airlines departing from China and landing in India have to manage and notify anyone reporting illness on flights.
The Airport Health Organizations at Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai have instilled signages informing about the self-reporting of the illness at prominent spots.
Hospitals located near these international airports have also been reviewed for isolation and critical care facilities.
Offering Health cards to all aircraft with direct and indirect connectivity to China.
Steps Taken by Home Ministry
States have been urged to provide health workers at these check posts to ensure screening of visitors by integrated check posts on the Nepal border.
Check posts deploying SSB / BSF / immigration officers have been warned.
