The Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has approved the 'CM Learn-Earn Scheme' in response to the anticipated issues of unemployment in the upcoming assembly polls.
During a special cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, the scheme, officially known as Mukhya Mantri Sikho-Kamao (CM Learn-Earn Scheme), was presented in detail and received approval. In addition to training and skill enhancement, the scheme will offer a monthly stipend ranging between 8,000 and 10,000 to the youths, thereby boosting their employment opportunities and facilitating better earnings prospects in the future.
The scheme has identified 703 work areas where training will be provided. These areas include manufacturing, engineering, electrical, mechanical, civil, management, marketing, hotel management, tourism, travel, railway, banking, IT sector, hospital, software development, insurance, accountancy, chartered accountant, financial services, media, art, law, legal services, education, training, and service sectors.
The registration process for establishments willing to provide training under the scheme will begin on June 7, while registration for youth interested in participating will commence on June 15.
