The wait is finally over for thousands of students across Chhattisgarh as the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is set to declare the much-anticipated Class 10 and 12 board exam results today, May 7, at 3 PM. The official announcement will be made by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, as per a government statement.

Students who appeared for the exams can access their scorecards online through the official websites — cgbse.nic.in and results.cg.nic.in. To check the results, students must enter their roll number and other details as mentioned on their admit cards.

Board Exam Timeline:

  • Class 12 Exams: March 1 to March 28, 2025

  • Class 10 Exams: March 3 to March 24, 2025

Both exams were conducted in offline mode across various centers in the state. Students from Science, Commerce, and Arts streams appeared for the Class 12 exams.

How to Check CGBSE Results 2025 Online:

  1. Visit the official website — cgbse.nic.in

  2. Click on the link for Class 10 or Class 12 result

  3. Enter your roll number and the captcha code

  4. Click on ‘Submit’ to view your result

  5. Download and save the scorecard for future reference

The online result will display essential information such as the student's name, roll number, enrolment number, date of birth, parental details, and the name and code of the school.

Re-evaluation and Supplementary Exams:

For students unsatisfied with their results, the board offers a re-evaluation or rechecking facility. A nominal fee of Rs 500 per subject is applicable for this process. Additionally, students who do not pass one or more subjects can appear in supplementary exams. The board will soon release the dates and guidelines for these exams.

Last year, the CGBSE declared results on May 9. With this year’s results being announced earlier, the board aims to give students more time to plan their next steps in academics or career.
