On its official website, the Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE, has posted an important announcement regarding the class 10 and 12 board exams. The board exams will take place in March and April of 2023.
The Board previously gave schools the go-ahead to submit the list of candidates (LOC) who will sit for the board exams the following year. Schools were instructed to ensure that all the information listed was double-reviewed. However, upon LOC submission, schools are asking CBSE to update some student data.
"Such requests show that schools were not serious when finalizing LOC as data was submitted by them more than a year at the time of registration in class IX/XI," the CBSE stated in the notification. In response to requests made by schools, the Board has created an online system for suggesting data modifications via Pariksha Sangam. Using their issued user ID and password, schools can log in.
