The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently made an announcement that the ‘chidren of military as well as paramilitary forces personnel fighting against terrorism & left-wing extremism and are killed while on the duty' will be given relaxation for appearing in class 12 and class 10 board exams this year.
According to CBSE’s official notification, which is also available on their website, students who are appearing in class 12 and class 10 examinations want to modify their exam centre in the same city, will be allowed to do so.
Not only this, these students will also be permitted to change their examination centre to another city if they want to.
If by chance any student has missed his or her practical exams then the same will be conducted for them by 10th April, 2019 according to their convenience by respective institutions/schools.
Students who wish to appear in the exam in any offered subject afterward then also they will be allowed to do so.
The CBSE official notice said, "Such candidates can send their request to respective schools and then schools will further send those requests to the concerned regional office for needful action by the board".
It must be noted that the last date to submit any such request to the concerned Regional office is 28th February, 2019.
Central Board of Secondary Education board examinations for class 12 with vocational subjects began on 15th February. The class 12th board examination for the main subjects will begin on 2nd March 2019.
On the other hand, class 10th board exams started on 21st February for vocational subjects and the main papers exams will commence on 5th March, 2019.
