According to the University Grants Commission's most recent notice, the CBSE class 10 and class 12 results may not be released for nearly a month. "The schools have already been informed of term-performance. The evaluation of term-ll is ongoing, and the creation of the results will follow.

The weighting depending on the performance of both terms will be combined to determine the final outcome. The declaration of the results will follow the completion of the process, according to the UGC's most recent notice.

The results should be expected by the end of July, according to earlier CBSE reports. Students can now anticipate class 12 results by July's end and class 10 results by the first week of August. The results were announced on July 30 in 2020 and July 31 in 2021, respectively, for the conclusion of classes for grades 10 and 12.

A similar timeframe might be anticipated for this year as well. This year's two-term exams are the reason for the delay, and the method to determine the final result has not yet been decided. The results from terms 1 and 2 as well as the internal assessment will be included in the calculation, although the weighting has not yet been determined.

CBSE Will Declare Results for Students Who Missed One of The Two Terms:

To further complicate matters, CBSE has now stated that it will declare results for students who missed one of the two terms due to a legitimate reason, as well. This implies that a unique formula must also be developed for them. Additionally, parents and students have been agitating for internal assessments to be given more weight than term 1 examinations, saying that many schools cheat during term 1 exams. Students have been requesting that the final grades be based on the "best of either term" or that the score of the term with the higher grade is taken into account.

Delay in College Admissions:

The complexity does not end here for CBSE kids. The admissions procedures for numerous colleges, including the esteemed Mumbai University, have already begun. In reality, the MU has published two merit lists. This implies that it will be challenging for pupils to secure admission by the time the CBSE results are out. UGC was requested to step in by CBSE.

The UGC responded to the CBSE's request by stating: "It has come to our attention that some universities have begun registration in undergraduate courses for the session (2022-2023). In this scenario, the students from CBSE will be denied admission in the undergraduate courses if the last date is fixed by the universities prior to CBSE result declaration."
