CBSE Class 10 & 12 Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare the much-awaited Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for 2025. While the exact date and time have not been officially confirmed, previous years’ trends suggest that the results could be announced anytime this week, possibly even today, as CBSE typically releases them in mid-May.
In recent years, CBSE has generally announced the Class 10 and 12 board exam results in the month of May. In 2024, the results were declared on May 13, while in 2023, they were released slightly earlier on May 12. These trends suggest that the board typically aims for a mid-May result declaration under normal circumstances.
Over 40 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Board Exams this year, which were conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025. The Class 10 exams concluded on March 18, while Class 12 exams wrapped up on April 4.

CBSE has introduced a ‘Relative Grading’ system from the academic session 2024–25 to reduce academic stress and unhealthy competition. Unlike the previous fixed grading system, the new model evaluates students based on their performance relative to their peers. As a result, grade cut-offs may vary depending on subject-wise performance trends and the overall performance of candidates across the country.
Students are advised to regularly check the official CBSE websites for the latest updates on result announcements. Additionally, follow CBSE’s official social media handles for real-time notifications and avoid relying on unofficial sources or viral messages.
