The CBSE Class 10, 12 board exam for Term 2 will not be canceled! The Supreme Court today dismissed a petition to cancel board exams in 2022, dashing the desire of students who wished for internal evaluation. A child's rights activist submitted the petition, requesting that every student must be evaluated internally. The plea was however dismissed, clearing the way for CBSE, ICSE, and State Board Exams in 2022.
Justices AM Khanwilkar dismissed the petition, calling it ill-advised since it offers "false optimism." "These petitions raise false hopes and provide authorities the opportunity to make a decision. You have the option of contesting the order "Justice AM Khanwilkar made a point. The three-judge bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari, and CT Ravikumar heard the plea.
Justice Khanwilkar has also referred to the plea as "publicity" and has issued a warning to the petitioners in that regard. "There are news items strewn throughout the place. What types of petitions are being filed, and how much exposure is being given? This has to come to an end. If you come up again, you'll pay a hefty price. Allow students and officials to carry out their duties. We're stating for that petitioner, whoever has submitted this petition" he stated.
