The BJP Kisan Morcha, the farmers' wing of India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has announced an ambitious plan to connect 30 million farmers with organic farming within the next three years. The decision was made during the Prakritik Kheti Jagran Abhiyan National Training Program workshop, which was led by the National President of the BJP Kisan Morcha and MP, Rajkumar Chahar.

The BJP Kisan Morcha's plan to promote organic farming will include organizing various events and campaigns across the country. These will include padyatras or foot marches and Kisan Sammelans, which are farmer conferences held in different parts of the country.

Additionally, public awareness campaigns and training programs for workers at the state and district levels will also be conducted to encourage and promote organic farming.

In the first phase, the Kisan Morcha plans to organize 5-kilometer padyatras and Kisan Sammelans on both sides of the banks of the Ganga. In the second phase, public awareness campaigns and padyatras will be organized to encourage organic farming on the banks of rivers in other parts of the country. The Kisan Morcha aims to train thousands of workers in organic farming techniques and hold organic farming seminars and training programs at the state and district levels.

The BJP Kisan Morcha has also announced that it will organize events in all districts of the country on February 24 to mark the completion of four years of the Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing income support to small and marginal farmers. These events will include dialogue and farmer conference programmes with the beneficiaries of the scheme.

The BJP Kisan Morcha's National President Rajkumar Chahar expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts to promote organic farming and recognize coarse grains as International Millet Year.

The organization plans to encourage people to produce and consume coarse grains, which are known for their health benefits and their ability to adapt to different soil and weather conditions.

Prime Minister Modi has been a vocal advocate of natural farming, and the government has set a target of reaching 1 crore (10 million) farmers through various organic farming initiatives. The BJP Kisan Morcha's plan to connect 30 million farmers with organic farming is in line with this goal and is anticipated to potentially help farmers to become self-sufficient as well as promote sustainable agriculture practices in the country.
