The Birla Institute of Technology & Science has released the hall tickets /admit cards for BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test) 2019 on its official website - bitsadmission.com.
The entrance test will be held from 16 May to 26 May for admissions to different integrated first degree programmes of engineering in BITS, Pilani situated at Pilani campus, Hyderabad campus and Goa campus.
How to download admit card
Step 1- Visit the official website of BITSAT - bitsadmission.com
Step 2- Then click on the ‘Download the BITSAT-2019 Hall ticket and Instructions’ link
Step 3- Enter details like application number, date of birth, gender.
Step 4 - The admit card /hall ticket will appear on the screen.
Step 5 - Download it, take a printout and bring it in the exam hall.

Exam pattern
The 3-hour entrance examination will consist of 4 parts –
Part I: Physics – 40 marks
Part II: Chemistry – 40 marks
Part III: English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning – 25 marks
Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B. Pharm students) – 45 marks
All the questions are objective type or multiple choice questions & there will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. For each correct answer, candidates will get 3 marks.
If candidate answers all 150 questions (without leaving any question), he or she will get an option of attempting 12 extra questions, if time is left. Extra questions will be from – Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics or Biology.
Syllabus:
BITSAT 2019 will be held according to NCERT syllabus of class 11 and 12. Hence those appearing for exams must refer to NCERT textbooks.
Direct Admission
Meritorious students with 1st rank of all the central as well as state boards for 2019 will get direct admission to the programme of their choice, regardless of their BITSAT-2019 score.
Score report
After completion of test, the computer will declare the result to students in terms of number of total accurate answers & wrong answers - with scores. Candidate will be able to check their score report at the BITS admission website on the next day of test.
Merit List for Admission:
The 1st merit list will be announced on 20th June 2019. Hence interested students need to put forward admission application with class 12 marks at centres of Pilani, Goa & Hyderabad from 1st May to 20th June, 2019.
Exam centres
The exam will be conducted at different centres across the country. Outside India, the exam will be held at Dubai campus of BITS.
Counseling Process
The counseling is likely to start from 1st week of June after the release of 1st merit list on 20 June 2019. Candidates have to mention their Class 12 marks with choice of campuses as well as courses in the online application.
