Government has launched various schemes for the welfare of farming community and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of them. Under this scheme, the farmers get financial aid of Rs 6,000 each year but this amount is not sufficient for them.
The good news is that many state governments have come up with schemes with double benefits for PM Kisan beneficiaries, which means farmers can improve their economic situation by taking advantage of their state's special scheme in addition to PM Kisan.
The Jharkhand government has also launched a similar scheme, in which it provides Rs 5,000 to farmers.
What is Krishi Ashirwad Yojana?
Farmers in Jharkhand with cultivable land of 5 acres or less are given a grant of Rs 5,000 per acre before the Kharif season begins. If the farmers want financial help, they can apply for a grant of up to Rs. 25,000 for up to 5 acres of land.
Farmers who are already taking benefit of PM Kisan Yojana can get advantage from Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana. A total grant of Rs 11,000 will be available in a year in this manner. But, in order to take benefit of this scheme, the government has imposed some limitations.
