Good news for students! The application procedure for the Atal Bihari Vaipayee General Scholarship Programme starts today. The last date to apply for the scholarship programme launched by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Ministry of Foreign Affairs ends on April 30.
Candidates can apply for the scholarship via the official website, a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in.
According to the official statement, the selected candidates will be informed through email or phone call till May 31. The website states that June 30 is the final day for the Indian Mission overseas to generate offer letters and distribute scholarships. By July 15, the candidates may accept the offer letter.
If seats remain vacant after the first round, Indian Missions will have until July 22 and until July 30 to provide scholarships to other students.
From February 20 through April 30, the scholarship gateway for the Lata Mangeshkar dance and music scholarship program and the Silver Jubilee scholarship scheme (for graduate and doctoral studies) will be accessible.

Eligibility Criteria for Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme
Applicants must have a strong command of English in order to be considered for the scholarship program.

Candidates for undergraduate programs must be between the ages of 18 and 30.

Candidates for Ph.D. programs must be between the ages of 18 and 45.
