Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah hoisted the tricolour at his residence in New Delhi today as part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Launched in 2022 under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, the campaign has evolved into a nationwide movement aimed at uniting citizens and fostering a stronger sense of patriotism. It encourages people across the country to proudly hoist the national flag at their homes, creating a shared celebration of India’s identity and heritage.

In a post on X, Amit Shah highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ has become a mass campaign that binds the country in a thread of unity. He said the initiative is a reminder of the sacrifices, penance, and dedication of countless freedom fighters who turned the dream of an independent India into reality. Shah added that 140 crore Indians are now determined to transform the nation into a developed and exemplary country.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan also shared a message on X. In his post, he expressed, “Our national flag represents the pride, honor, and identity forged through the countless sacrifices of our country. Today, I proudly hoisted the tricolor with my family. I encourage you all to display the tricolor at your homes and celebrate our national festival with full zeal, enthusiasm, and patriotism.”

This year marks the fourth edition of the campaign, with enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups and regions. From urban cities to rural villages, citizens are displaying the tricolour atop their homes, workplaces, and community spaces.

The campaign has not only become a symbol of national pride but also a means to deepen the connection between Indians and their national flag. Over the past three years, it has successfully transcended regional, cultural, and linguistic differences, turning flag hoisting into a unifying act of respect for the nation.
