In the AHIDF conclave, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying Parshottam Rupala will launch Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) projects and honour 75 entrepreneurs. The event will be addressed by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, MoS, FAHD, and Dr. L. Murugan, MoS, FAHD, and I&B.
As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying will hold an AHIDF conclave on July 14, 2022, at Bhim Hall, Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.
The goal of this conclave is to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, the launch of AHIDF operational guidelines 2.0, the revamped AHIDF online portal, the Credit Guarantee Online Portal, the inauguration of five major plants established with the assistance of the AHIDF scheme, the facilitation of entrepreneurs/lenders, and the networking of all stakeholders and upcoming entrepreneurs. The one-day Conclave will feature a variety of sessions followed by a panel discussion led by a group of highly regarded panel members.
The stimulus package announced by the Prime Minister, Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, included the establishment of a Rs. 15000 crore Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF). The AHIDF scheme has been approved to incentivize investments in the following areas by individual entrepreneurs, private companies, farmers producers organizations (FPOs), and Section 8 companies:

Dairy processing and product diversification infrastructure

Meat processing and product diversification infrastructure

Animal feed plant

Breed Improvement Technology and Breed Multiplication Farms

Setting up of Veterinary Vaccine and Drugs Production Facilities

Animal-Waste to Wealth Management (Agri waste management)
The conclave is being organized by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India and various industry associations. The conclave's goal is to provide participants with the best possible knowledge inputs about the AHIDF Scheme and to facilitate various stakeholders. Around 500 entrepreneurs/stakeholders, lenders/SLBCs, government officials (state and central), common service centres, industry associations/farmers associations, and government organizations are expected to attend the conclave.
The first 75 entrepreneurs under AHIDF (different categories/FPO/Farmer/Women) will be recognized. Apart from the following, a revamped online portal for AHIDF will be launched:
