Farmers, here’s your chance to grab huge subsidies on agricultural machinery! The state government has extended the deadline for the Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, allowing more farmers to benefit. The application deadline has been pushed from March 26, 2025, to April 8, 2025, ensuring wider participation. The lottery for selecting beneficiaries will now take place on April 9, 2025.
Farm Mechanization with Subsidized Equipment
With the aim of modernizing agriculture, the Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana provides farmers with essential farming equipment at subsidized rates. The Madhya Pradesh government is offering a subsidy ranging from 30% to 50% on various agricultural machines, making advanced technology accessible to more farmers. Depending on the machine, farmers can receive a financial benefit of approximately Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000.
Subsidy Available on a Wide Range of Equipment
Eligible farmers can receive subsidies on several agricultural machines, including the Paddy Straw Chopper, Shredder, Mulcher, Rotary Slasher, and Hydraulic Plough. Other equipment covered under the scheme includes, Baling Machines, Crop Reapers, Straw Rakes, and Power Sprayers/Boom Sprayers. The list also extends to Subsoiler Agricultural Equipment, Laser Land Levelers, Fertilizer Broadcasters, and Pulverizers (up to 3 HP). Application Process and Eligibility
Farmers must apply online through the E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal before April 8, 2025. The selection will be made through a lottery system, and successful applicants will be notified via SMS. Registered farmers can log in using Aadhaar-based OTP authentication, while new applicants must complete biometric verification at MP Online or CSC centers.

Security Deposit and Refund Policy
Farmers are required to deposit a security amount through a Demand Draft (DD) in favor of the Assistant Agricultural Engineer of their district. If an applicant is not selected in the lottery, the deposited amount will be refunded. Applications without the required security deposit will not be accepted.
Apart from the lottery system, the scheme also includes an "On-Demand" category, where select advanced agricultural machines are available without a lottery. Farmers applying under this category will be approved based on the available budget, and successful applicants will receive direct confirmation via SMS.
