
AFCAT Result 2025: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially announced the results of the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 01/2025) today, March 17, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination can access their results on the official website, afcat.cdac.in. The AFCAT 2025 exam was conducted nationwide on February 22 and 23 at multiple examination centers.
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 336 vacancies, comprising 189 positions for Ground Duty (Technical) and 117 for Ground Duty (Non-Technical). The AFCAT exam was conducted online in two shifts each day, with a total score of 300 marks. The exam assessed candidates on their English verbal ability, general awareness, numerical aptitude, reasoning, and military aptitude. Negative marking was applicable, with a penalty of one mark for every incorrect answer.

Candidates who qualify in the AFCAT 2025 written exam will be invited for the next stage, which is the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. The interview will evaluate candidates on various factors, including communication skills, leadership qualities, and personality traits. Those who successfully pass the interview will then undergo medical examinations before being selected for training at the prestigious Air Force Academy.
To be eligible for AFCAT, applicants must be unmarried Indian citizens. The age criteria for Flying Branch applicants range between 20 to 24 years, with a relaxation up to 26 years for candidates holding a valid Commercial Pilot License. For Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) roles, the age limit extends from 20 to 26 years. Additionally, candidates must hold a three-year degree with at least 60% marks to be eligible.
The AFCAT is conducted annually by the IAF to select qualified candidates for Group-A Gazetted Officer roles in both technical and non-technical fields.
