Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana is going to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET – GADVASU) on 21ST June, 2018 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.), B. Tech. (Biotechnology) and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology). A total of 2228 candidates with medical and non-medical background will compete for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc., B. Tech. (Biotechnology) and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology).
Dr. Narinder Singh Sharma, Controller of Examinations informed that Guru Angad Dev Veterinary University has adopted online admission process since last two years. The roll number/admit cards have to be downloaded from the admission portal/student dashboard which has a link at university website www.gadvasu.in. A total of 1428 candidates will appear in the CET-GADVASU at R.S. Model Sr. Sec. School, and the remaining at B.C.M. Arya Model Sr. Sec. School both at Shastri Nagar, Near Model Town, Ludhiana. Candidates are required to reach the designated examination centre as mentioned on the Admit Card at 9.00 am sharp on 21st June, 2018. All the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the CET-GADVASU have been completed.
Dr. AS. Nanda, Vice-Chancellor, has extended his best wishes to all the aspiring candidates going to appear in the CET-2018. The first counseling for admission to B.V.Sc & A.H. is scheduled on July 18, 2018 whereas for B.F.Sc., B. Tech. (Biotechnology) and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) it will be on July 20, 2018 at the Auditorium, Silver Jubilee Block, University Veterinary Hospital, Opposite Nanaksar Gurudwara, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana.
