Northwest India
Northwest India will experience fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and East Rajasthan. Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall is expected over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and West Rajasthan over the next five days. Isolated very heavy rainfall is anticipated in East Rajasthan on July 29, Uttarakhand from July 29 to August 2, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on July 31 and August 1, and in Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, and West Rajasthan on July 31.

South Peninsular India
South Peninsular India will see fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall in Coastal Karnataka, Lakshadweep, and Kerala & Mahe. Scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall, with thunderstorms and lightning, is expected in Interior Karnataka, and isolated to scattered rainfall is forecast for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, and Rayalaseema over the next five days. Very heavy rainfall is likely in isolated places in Kerala & Mahe on July 29 and Coastal & South Interior Karnataka on July 29-30. Heavy rainfall is also expected in isolated areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on July 29, North Interior Karnataka on July 29-30, and Kerala & Mahe, Coastal & South Interior Karnataka from July 29 to August 1.
East and Northeast India
East and Northeast India will experience fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning over the next five days. Very heavy rainfall is likely in isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura from July 29 to August 1, Arunachal Pradesh on August 1-2, and Odisha on July 31 and August 1. Isolated heavy rainfall is expected in Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura from July 29 to August 2, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on July 29-30 and August 1-2, Assam & Meghalaya on July 29-30, Jharkhand from July 30 to August 1, and Gangetic West Bengal on July 29, 31 and August 1.
