Amid lockdown, a new feature has been started by NITI Aayog for the citizens. The body which launched the Aarogya Setu app has partnered with the Principal Scientific Advisor to the PM to launch AarogyaSetu Mitr website.
Aim of Aarogya Setu Mitr Website:
This website aims for bringing healthcare services to the “doorstep of all Indians amid the Covid-19 crisis. The initiative also involves voluntary participation from organizations, industry coalitions and startups. Under, AarogyaSetu Mitr, users will get free consultancy from doctors on Covid-19 & also ancillary services such as home collection of samples for Diagnostics & Medicine delivery at home.
How to use Aarogya Setu Mitr?
Users simply need to log on to the website & choose for any of the three options- Consult Doctor, Home Lab Test and ePharmacy.
Under the option of Consult doctors, one can choose to connect with eSanjeevani OPD, Tata Bridgital Health, Swasth, StepOne, and Tech Mahindra’s Connectsense Telehealth platform. Users can connect with doctors through chat, call or video conferencing.
The Home Lab Test section has partners- Dr Lal Pathlabs, Metropolis, SRL Diagnostics, Thyrocare and others. By clicking on any of these, users will get navigated to the company’s website from where they can apply for the test.
The third option under Aarogya Setu Mitr website is the ePharmacy, from where users can order medicines from 1mg, netmeds.com, MedLife and PharmEasy.
About Aarogya Setu Mitr:
Aarogya Setu Mitr website is a public & private collaboration. It operates under the offices of the PSA and Niti Aayog, with partnership of volunteers from the private sector. It can be noted that though there is no app for AarogyaSetu Mitr, the service is already integrated in the Aarogya Setu app. By clicking on the section the mobile version of the website is opened.
Objectives of Aarogya Setu Mitr:
The aim of Aarogya Setu Mitr website is to make the Aarogya Setu app a one-stop solution provider to all covid-19 queries. The portal will be a separate site & the data of the individuals from the Aarogya Setu app will not be accessed.
