The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) present the conference, which is co-organized by Plant Based Foods Industry Association (PBFIA) and PHD Chamber. The conference also serves as a warm-up for the upcoming global Soy Month celebrations in April, which aim to eliminate protein deficiency by educating and emphasising the role of soy as a complete protein source.
The Plant Based Foods Industry Association was founded in 2009. Plant Based Foods Industry Association (PBFIA) is an apex, CEO-led body that has 100 members in its first year of existence. 'Right To Protein' is a public health awareness initiative that aims to educate citizens on the importance of adequate protein consumption for better nutrition, health, and well-being. The #RightToProtein initiative aims to increase knowledge of various protein sources, both animal and plant protein-based, in order to meet larger nutritional goals.
