The mega launch of the Agriculture Journalist Association of India (AJAI) will be hosted tomorrow at 4 PM in New Delhi in hybrid mode, i.e. the event will be held physically at the AJAI headquarters in Yusuf Sarai and via Zoom Meeting.
AJAI is a national-level organization organized by M C Dominic that works to promote the highest standards amongst the communicators including journalists and photographers, who have dedicated their lives and works to farming, dairy, horticulture, fisheries, floriculture, and food production or rural affairs, in essence - anything to do with the agriculture sector.
Several eminent personalities from the agriculture industry will be present at the launch ceremony. Unveiling of the official logo of AJAI will be done by the Union Cabinet Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, Parshottam Rupala while the official website of AJAI will be unveiled by Lena Johansson, President of the International Federation of Agriculture Journalists (IFAJ).
The event will also host a panel discussion with agriculture experts on the “Importance of Agri-Journalism in the Current Scenario”.
Joining the event will be an expert studded panel, including Dr. K Singh, DDG Extension, ICAR, Dr. S K Malhotra, Project Director (DKMA) at ICAR, Dr. J P Mishra, OSD (Policy, Planning, and Partnership) & ADG, ICAR, and Dr. R S Kureel, V C, Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University, Chhattisgarh.
