“8th India International MSME Start-up Expo 2022” kicked off on Thursday (25 August 2022) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event which is organized by the MSME Development Forum will continue till Saturday (27 August 2022).
Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha Inaugurated the International MSME Expo, Trade Fair & Summit. He said that the MSME sector has changed significantly in the last eight years, and the new resilience, competitiveness, and strength of MSMEs would make India the preferred place for manufacturing around the world.
He further said that the three main factors for MSME's sustainable growth are Productivity, Connectivity & Standardization.
Initiatives like Vocal for Local, District Export Hubs, GeM Portal, and Market Linkage of Domestic & Global Value Chains are outcomes of the Hon'ble Prime Minister's efforts to ensure that MSMEs contribute to achieving the vision of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat & Aatma Nirbhar Jammu Kashmir.
The event has been planned around five themes that are important for the development and growth of the MSME industry. This Event is the best platform for SMEs, startups, trade industry, and service providers to exhibit their products/services to find new business opportunities, markets, ideas, buyers, sellers, etc.
Many government bodies and organizations have gathered together for this event. There are many stalls of MSMEs & other stakeholders from J&K, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh displaying their local products.
