Here is some important news for the Central Government employees who are anticipating the news about the DA hike from the Center for the New Year. According to media sources, the Fitment Factor will probably be raised by the central government after the new year.
The development comes as thousands of employees around the nation have been requesting the fitting factor change for a very long time.
The Central Government employees have been requesting an increase in the fitment factor from 2.57 times to 3.68 times based on the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission for several months. Government employees of all categories will profit if the fitting factor is raised.
Calculation of Salary Hike:
If the Center increases the fitment factor by three times, the employee's base pay would be 18,000 X 2.57, or Rs. 46,260, minus allowances.
The wage, if the employees' demands are granted, will be 26000 X 3.68, or Rs 95,680.
The pay will be 21000 X 3 = Rs 63,000 if the Center agrees to a three-fold increase in the fitment factor.
Government personnel should be aware that, per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, their compensation is determined by their basic salary, fitment factor, and allowances.
