To Reduce Inflation, Increase Is Done Twice A Year

The DA hike was put on hold in May 2020 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, on June 30, 2021, the Center began increasing the DA. According to estimates, DA dues for Level-1 employees can range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554, while it can range from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 for Level-13 employees. The Union Cabinet is likely to make a decision on the DA arrears very soon.
