An agri-drone manufacturer based in Gurugram, IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd, has recently secured a significant contract from the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) to supply 500 drones.

This contract establishes IoTechWorld as a leader in the IFFCO drone project, which aims to procure a total of 2,500 drones for the purpose of spraying nano-liquid urea and DAP (Diammonium Phosphate) on agricultural fields.

Co-founded by Deepak Bhardwaj and Anoop Upadhyay, IoTechWorld is known for manufacturing India's first DGCA-type certified drone called 'AGRIBOT.' The company is also backed by Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, a leading agritech company. The CEO of IoTechWorld, Anoop Upadhyay, expressed his privilege at receiving the largest order for Krishi drones from IFFCO, with plans to deliver the 500 drones by December 2023.

IoTechWorld has been at the forefront of promoting technological innovation in agriculture, particularly through the use of drones. Their AGRIBOT drones have been specifically designed and programmed for spraying fertilizers.

Bhardwaj emphasized that the order from IFFCO serves as a testament to the company's strength in the agri-drone segment. The objective is to assist farmers and agri-entrepreneurs in implementing the newly launched Indian-made Nano Urea and Nano DAP products by IFFCO.

Apart from IFFCO, IoTechWorld Avigation has also formed a partnership with agrochemical company Syngenta and has conducted an extensive 17,000 km drone yatra (journey) in various parts of India. The company expects a substantial increase in demand for drones in the current fiscal year, estimating sales of over 3,000 drones. They are also exploring export opportunities, with the recent liberalization of the drone export policy by the Indian government opening up a range of possibilities and high demand in overseas markets.

IoTechWorld Avigation is actively discussing potential exports to regions such as SAARC, South East Asia, Brazil, Latin America, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, Oman, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the Philippines, Nepal, and Africa. These countries are the focal points for IoTech's export sales. The company is committed to raising awareness about the benefits of utilizing drones in agriculture and has established remote pilot training organizations to train individuals in drone operation.

The application of Krishi-drones not only saves time and money but also enhances farm productivity. Additionally, the use of drones in farming activities like pesticide spraying offers health benefits to farmers. IoTechWorld, along with its partners, is dedicated to creating village-level entrepreneurs and establishing remote pilot training organizations across the country. The company believes that the widespread adoption of drones in agriculture can bring about positive transformations in the sector.

In summary, IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd has emerged as a leader in the IFFCO drone project, securing a significant contract to supply 500 drones for spraying fertilizers. With a focus on technological innovation in agriculture, the company aims to support farmers and agri-entrepreneurs by facilitating the implementation of advanced agricultural solutions.
