Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, has been constantly working to promote agriculture and its education in India for many years. The university has grown immensely popular among the scholars and has been disseminating farmers-friendly information about technologies and innovations.
In order to provide farmers and professionals a platform to display innovations, the Directorate of Extension Education organizes All India Farmers Fair & Agro-Industrial Exhibition twice in a year. In the year 2020, the University is going to celebrate the 107th edition of the event from 3rd March to 6th March. The event aims at promoting the noble cause of uplifting rural mass by helping farmers and professionals in displaying their valuable products and innovative ideas or techniques.
Some major attractions of the event include the sale of quality seeds and planting materials, animal show, horticulture show, scientific exhibition, Kisan gosthi, special lecturers, field visits and cultural programmer.
