Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has launched its medicine for covid-19. As the number of coronavirus cases continues to increase, Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved comes as a significant achievement in the fight against the pandemic. Patanjali Ayurved has today (23 June 2020) launched 'Coronil and Swasari', which the company claims is the first Ayurvedic cure for treating COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2 virus.
'Coronil and Swasari'- A Cure for Covid-19
Baba Ramdev has launched a kit of three Ayurvedic medicines at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. He said, they are proud to announce that the first Ayurvedic, clinically controlled trial based evidence & research-based medicine has been prepared by the combined efforts of Patanjali Research Centre and NIMS.
As per the company, the Coronil kit is for 30 days which will be made available at just Rs 545. Ramdev informed at the press conference that the medicine has shown '100% recovery rate within 3-7 days'.
Ramdev added, “We are launching COVID medicines Coronil and Swasari today. We held two trials of these, among it, first was clinical controlled study, which took place in Delhi, Ahmedabad, among many other cities. Under this 280 patients were included and 100% of those recovered. We were able to control Corona and its complications in this. After this the all-important clinical control trial was conducted.”
Patanjali’s Ayurvedic Medicine: A cure for covid-19
Acharya Balkrishna, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Patanjali, was also present at the launch along with other officials. He said that the company is launching its Ayurvedic medicine ‘Swasari Vati and Coronil’ on Tuesday for coronavirus contagion. He claimed that Patanjali’s Ayurvedic medicine has been able to cure coronavirus patients within 5-14 days.
Coronil is made from a mixture of Ashwagandha, Giloy and Tulsi which can be taken two times in a day (morning and evening).
The research was jointly conducted by Patanjali Research Institute, Haridwar and the National Institute of Medical Science, Jaipur. Ramdev has thanked the Director, National Institute of Medical Sciences, NIMS University, Jaipur, Dr Balbir Singh Tomar & all other doctors and scientists for their help to develop the medicine.
