The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi invites applications for the interested and eligible candidates. There will be engagement of one (01) temporary post of Young Professional – II (YP-II) under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of The Graduate School, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. The position is purely contractual in nature and will be initially for a period of one year, extendable for two more years (one year at a time), depending on the requirement of the organization and satisfactory performance of the candidate.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA) or Business Studies (BBS) with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or college.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.

  • Minimum one year of work experience in a relevant field.





Rs. 42,000/- per month (fixed)



Age Limits and Additional Information

  • Minimum age: 21 years

  • Maximum age: 45 years

  • Age relaxation will be applicable to SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates as per the Government of India norms as on the last date of submission i.e., May 30, 2025.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The position is purely temporary and contractual. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment or permanency at ICAR-IARI.

  • The selected candidate will be entitled to 08 days leave per calendar year on pro-rata basis and 02 restricted holidays as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules. Unavailed leaves shall not be carried forward.

  • Compensatory leave may be allowed in lieu of duties performed on holidays, with a maximum accrual of 02 leaves per month.

  • The selected candidate will have access to institutional facilities such as transport, canteen, library, and dispensary as available at ICAR-IARI.

  • Candidates must declare any near or distant relative working at ICAR/IARI in the application form, as per the prescribed format.

  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidate.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

  • The selected candidate will be required to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement before joining.

  • The Director, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or terminate the position at any stage without assigning any reason.

  • In case of any legal disputes, the jurisdiction will be restricted to New Delhi Court only.

  • The decision of the competent authority shall be final and binding in all respects.
