Applications are invited for Walk-in Interview at Division of Entomology, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi – 110012, for the following purely contractual positions under the project titled: "Baseline susceptibility of key Lepidopteran pests against newer insecticides under controlled conditions". The position is purely temporary and contractual, to be filled through an interview at the Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.

Age Limits and Additional Information

Young Professional-II: Minimum age 21 years, Maximum age 45 years. Relaxation as per Government of India/ICAR rules.
Field cum Lab Assistant and Helper: Upper age limit is 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the post.
The selected candidate will not have any claim for regular appointment at ICAR-IARI.
Original documents and a medical fitness certificate must be presented at the time of joining.

How to Apply

Application Submission:

Candidates must appear in person for the interview on the given date and time.
The application form must be filled as per the prescribed format and submitted along with self-attested copies of all required documents.
A recent passport-sized photograph should be affixed on the application.
Application should include details of academic qualifications (from 10th standard onward), percentage of marks, distinctions/medals, research experience, and publications, with all supporting documents.
Candidates currently employed must bring a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

Candidates may resign with one month's notice if they wish to leave the assignment.

Candidates must declare if their near or distant relative is employed at ICAR/IARI (Annexure II must be submitted).
All disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of New Delhi courts.
The decision of the Competent Authority will be final.
