Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with a 4/5-year Bachelor’s Degree.

Those with a Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences should have a 3-year Bachelor's Degree, a 2-year Master’s Degree, NET qualification, and 2 years of research experience as specified by the Council and DST guidelines.

Candidates should have knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and practical computer application skills.

The SRF will handle IPR activities such as patent, copyright, trademark, and design registrations as per ICAR’s ITMU guidelines.

Responsibilities also include assisting in the commercialization of institutional technologies and managing daily project activities.

The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women as of the application deadline. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates is available as per Government of India rules.
Monthly Remuneration
For 1st and 2nd year: Rs. 31,000 per month + HRA as admissible; For 3rd year onwards: Rs. 35,000 per month+HRA as admissible
