In the state's Mahatma Gandhi government schools, there are a total of 9,172 open positions, including 7,140 level 1 assistant teaching positions and 1,286 level 2 positions for English and mathematics in Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) and non-TSP areas.

For General Category – Rs. 100
For Other Backward Classes (OBC) Category- RS. 70
For Scheduled Tribe (ST)- Rs. 60
