Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or equivalent professional courses.

Selection Process: Must meet one of the following criteria as per DST guidelines:

Qualified through the National Eligibility Test (e.g., CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE).

Selection through a national-level exam conducted by a central government agency (e.g., DST, DBT, ICAR, IISc, etc.).

Additional Requirement: Two years of research experience.
Desirable Skills

Experience in maize breeding.

Knowledge of Breeding Management Systems and Genomic Prediction Models.

Proficiency in molecular research, computer usage, and data analytics.
Age Limit

Maximum age: 35 years (age relaxation applicable as per government norms, five years for SC/ST & women, and three years for OBC candidates).
