Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Retired scientists, technologists, academicians, or civil servants retired at the level of Secretary to the Government of India by re-employment on contract are eligible. Additionally, serving scientists or officers at the Secretary level are encouraged to apply.

Selection Process
The selection of the Chairperson will be conducted through a high-level Search-cum-Selection Committee appointed by the Government of India. This committee will meticulously evaluate candidates in accordance with established guidelines, with the final approval resting with the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
