CCS-NIAM Announces Vacancy for the Post of Assistant Director, Account Officer, Asst. Grade I and Legal Executive on Deputation

Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS-NIAM) is inviting candidates for one post of Assistant Director Deputation, one post of Account Officer (01) DR, Asst. Grade I Deputation and one post of Legal Executive (IP) on a short term or contract basis. Here are the details: 

Position Overview 

Qualifications  and Experience

Assistant Director Deputation: 

• Master’s Degree in relevant fields such as Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Marketing, Management, Horticulture, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, Communication, or Agricultural Engineering (with specialization in post-harvest management) from a recognized university. 

• Alternatively, a Master's Degree in Entomology with specialization in storage of Agricultural Commodities is acceptable.

• Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Research, Training, Consultancy, or teaching at the university level in any relevant field.

• For deputation, officers from Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Semi-Government, Statutory, Autonomous, or Research and Development Organizations are eligible. They should either hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have 7 years of regular service in Level-10 pay Scale (Rs. 56100-177500/-) and possess the qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits.

• Note: The period of deputation should not exceed four years, including the preceding appointment in the same or another organization/department of the Central Government.

Account Officer DR

• B. Com degree from a recognized university.

• Minimum five years of experience in cash budgeting, accounts work, and financial management in government or semi-government organizations.

• Chartered Accountancy (CA) or ICWA degree from a recognized institute.

• For transfer on deputation, Officers from government or semi-government organizations are eligible and should either hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have eight years of regular service in the specified pay scale with qualifications and experience required for direct recruitment.

• Note: The deputation period should not exceed four years, including any previous deputation within the Central Government.

Asst. Grade I Deputation

• Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university or equivalent.

• Typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.

• For transfer or promotion, either holding an analogous post or equivalent on a regular basis Or, having served as Assistant Grade III or equivalent, with at least 10 years of service in Pay Matrix Level -2 (Rs. 19900-63200/-) after regular appointment.

• Knowledge of Establishment matters, accounts, budget, GFR 2017, E-procurements, and GeM Portal is required.

Legal Executive (IP)

• Master's degree in any science branch, with IP Agent/LLM (IP).

• Experience of 2+ years in patent drafting, filing, searching, analysis, prosecution, and license agreement drafting.

• Mentored 15-20 startups and facilitated funding from Angel/VCs.

Monthly Remuneration

• Assistant Director Deputation: Level -11 (67700-208700)

• Account Officer DR: Pay Matrix level-11, 67700/- 

• Asst. Grade I Deputation: Level-6 (35400-112400)

• Legal Executive (IP): Consolidated package of Rs. 50,000/- per month
