UPL, the world’s 5th Largest Agri-Solutions provider launched Pronutiva under its Global initiative – ‘My Farmer-My Village’ at an event held in Maharashtra as 'Majhe Shetkari Majhe Gaon'. The Pronutiva launch event was an interactive and solution-oriented event that was organized at Pandharpur, Solapur.
The event welcomed more than 780 pomegranate farmers participants, and more than 300 farmers adopted Pronutiva Package. All of them were also felicitated by UPL and their dealers.
During the launch, Sameer Tandon, Regional Director, India, UPL said, “The management of pests in Pomegranate is very important because it can damage the crop badly which will result in a financial loss for the farmers and wastage of their hardships as well as natural resources.”
"UPL’s Adarsh Farm Services (AFS), an expert in crop protection spraying solutions has designed spraying machine especially for pomegranate crops. AFS will provide its spraying services at farmers’ farm at an affordable rate that will reduce farmers’ dependency on farm scarce and costly labors during peak season," added Tandon.
