After the appointment, Chetan Kapoor who has previously worked as the COO of the company since 2016 said, “We will continue to rise to be an agile & purpose-led organization that drives social transformation in the communities we work with.”
In a post on LinkedIn, Kapoor inked a heartfelt message of gratitude to the company, writing, “Also overwhelming is the acute sense of responsibility that comes with this role, especially when the organization I'm entrusted to lead has the sacred task of serving the under-served. I'm fortunate to have been a part of this organization for the past many years and have with me a set of colleagues and associates who have made the journey worthwhile every step of the way. Thank you, team Tech Mahindra Foundation!”
He went on to thank the parent company Tech Mahindra in the post as well, saying, “They say that "a man is known by the company he keeps", but a company is known by the People it keeps. Our parent company Tech Mahindra - which has carved a name for itself in the tech space as a company with a Purpose - has unwaveringly supported the work we do at the Foundation. I can never thank enough the TechM leaders CP Gurnani, Harshvendra Soin, Jagdish Mitra, and many others who have always stood by us and encouraged us to do better.”
On the other hand, Sajid Ali who was previously the Head- Direct Implementation Programs and now is the COO said, “We need to nurture an ecosystem for an inclusive and equal world, one where women and persons with disabilities are empowered. I am certain that this can be achieved by building bridges with organizations with shared values to make a better world for all.”
