SLCM’s NBFC Arm Kissandhan Crosses New Milestone with Rs 3,000 Cr+ Loan Disbursals

Kissandhan, an NBFC under SLCM, has disbursed over Rs 3,244 crore in loans, empowering 7.1 lakh farmers across 14+ states through tech-led, inclusive Agri-financing. It emphasizes financial inclusion, especially for women and FPOs, with customized credit and innovative products like 'Jan Samridhi'.

Kissandhan, a multi-asset NBFC for farmers and a wholly owned subsidiary of Sohan Lal Commodity Management Ltd. (SLCM), has marked a significant milestone by disbursing total loans worth over Rs 3,244.22 crore. The company’s strategic focus on technology-led, inclusive Agri-financing has empowered 7,11,277 lakh farmers across India, deepening its footprint in the rural economy and strengthening last-mile credit access.

Operating across 14+ states, Kissandhan continues to scale its operations, offering a wide range of Agri-credit solutions with an objective of providing ‘Financial Inclusion’ through easier and customized financing solutions to farmers, FPOs, Traders and SMEs. The company has facilitated cumulative disbursements of Rs 2,539.75 crore under its commodity-based finance model against 49,976 storage receipts, underscoring its leadership in warehouse receipt financing.

Till date, Kissandhan’s overall clientele base expanded to 37,642, encompassing Agri traders, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), women beneficiaries, farmers, and other stakeholders, reinforcing its strong focus on financial inclusion.

A notable highlight was the sharp rise in women loan beneficiaries, with 37,185 women supported during this time. The average loan ticket size for these beneficiaries stood at Rs 43,317, reflecting Kissandhan’s dedication to providing need-based, Small-ticket credit aimed at enhancing the social and economic empowerment of women in rural India. Furthering its commitment to uplift Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Kissandhan has extended its services to 125 FPOs and empowered more than 84,000 small & marginal farmers and their families, enabling better access to credit and improving collective bargaining power in the Agri value chain.

Kissandhan has recently added ‘Jan Samridhi’, a Micro Loan Against Property (LAP) in their product portfolio, and it has already facilitated loans worth Rs 1.13 crore, signaling a promising start to a focused program aimed at increasing grassroots financial empowerment.

Commenting on the achievement, Sandeep Sabharwal, Group CEO, SLCM Group, expressed,
