Insecticides (India) Limited, a prominent agrochemical manufacturer, has unveiled four new crop protection products—Nakshatra, Supremo SP, Opaque, and Million—during the ongoing Rabi crop sowing season.
Rajesh Aggarwal, the Managing Director of Insecticides (India), emphasized that these introductions aim not only to benefit individual farmers but also to foster the overall progress and sustainability of the agricultural sector, contributing to the nation's prosperity.
The innovative 'Nakshatra' is designed for sugarcane crops, offering a unique blend of two potent herbicides to effectively safeguard against unwanted weeds.
'Opaque,' a pioneering patented herbicide, combines two herbicides in ZE formulation, providing robust control over various weeds and promoting optimal crop growth conditions.
Its versatility makes it suitable for multiple crops, excluding onions and is recommended for use within three days after transplanting.
'Supremo SP' is positioned as a powerful solution against chewing and sucking insects, specifically targeting pests like stem borers and leaf folders in paddy fields, as well as controlling insects in vegetables.
Meanwhile, 'Million' is tailored to combat the Phalaris minor weed in wheat, with a recommended application rate of 60 grams per acre through pre-emergence within three days of sowing.
Insecticides (India) Limited envisions these new products not only enhancing individual farm outcomes but also contributing to the overall advancement and sustainability of the agricultural landscape.
