Escorts Kubota Reports 2.2% Growth in Tractor Sales for June 2025

Escorts Kubota Limited reported steady growth in tractor sales for June 2025, driven by positive rural sentiment and favourable monsoon conditions. The company recorded domestic sales of 10,997 tractors during the month.

On July 1, 2025, Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division released its tractor sales figures for June 2025. The company sold 11,498 tractors, registering a 2.2% year-on-year growth compared to 11,245 units sold in June 2024.

In the domestic market, the company recorded sales of 10,997 tractors in June 2025 as compared to 11,011 units in June 2024. The timely arrival of the southwest monsoon, increase in Kharif sowing area, and the government’s announcement of higher Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for Kharif crops have collectively contributed to improved farmer sentiment.

Looking ahead, with forecasts of an above-normal monsoon, healthy water reservoir levels, expectations of a record Kharif harvest, and better liquidity in rural markets, the company anticipates continued growth in the tractor industry for the remainder of the year.

In the export market, Escorts Kubota sold 501 tractors in June 2025, marking a 114.1% growth compared to 234 units sold in June 2024. Sales volume are as follows:

The company also informed that National Company Law Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench (NCLT) has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Escorts Kubota India Private Limited and Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Private Limited (Amalgamating Companies) with Escorts Kubota Limited (Amalgamated Company). The certified copy of the approval was received by the company on August 29, 2024, and filed with the Registrar of Companies on September 1, 2024. Accordingly, the volume reported here for the current as well as previous period(s) includes sales numbers of the amalgamating companies also.
