Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business today announced its tractor sales for September 2025, recording its highest-ever monthly sales of 18,267 tractors, marking a 47.6% growth compared to 12,380 units sold in September 2024.
Domestic tractor sales in September 2025 reached 17,803 units, reflecting a 48.5% increase over 11,985 tractors sold in the same month last year. The tractor industry continued its growth momentum in September, driven by favorable rural conditions, above-normal and well-distributed monsoon rains, improved water reservoir levels, and an early festive season.
Additionally, the recent GST rate cut on tractors and farm machinery has further strengthened market sentiment. The overall industry outlook remains positive, with expectations of robust demand for the remainder of the year.
Export tractor sales for September 2025 stood at 464 units, registering a 17.5% growth over 395 units sold in September 2024.
