On June 1, 2025, Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division released its tractor sales figures for May 2025. The company reported total tractor sales of 10,354 units in May 2025, compared to 10,286 units sold in May 2024.
Domestic tractor sales in May 2025 stood at 9,703 tractors as against 9,906 tractors in May 2024. The company stated that the timely onset of the monsoon season has lifted sentiment across rural markets, with agricultural activities for the upcoming Kharif season set to begin as planned.
Looking ahead, Escorts Kubota expects this positive momentum to continue, driven by an above-normal monsoon forecast, adequate water reservoir levels, and improved liquidity in the farming sector.
In the export segment, tractor sales reached 651 units in May 2025, marking a 71.3% growth compared to 380 units exported in May 2024.
