On November 1, 2025, Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business announced that it sold 18,798 tractors in October 2025, its highest-ever monthly sales, marking a growth of 3.8% compared to 18,110 tractors sold in October 2024.
Domestic tractor sales in October 2025 stood at 18,423 units, reflecting a growth of 3.3% over 17,839 units sold in October 2024. The tractor industry continued its positive momentum during the month, supported by strong festive demand, consistent government initiatives, reduced GST rates, favourable agricultural conditions, and sufficient water levels in reservoirs.
Building on the momentum from September, which marked a robust start to the festive season, October witnessed a significant boost in retail activity. Although extended rains in some states have damaged harvested crops and affected sowing operations, the overall demand outlook remains stable for the rabi season, reinforcing a positive sentiment for the industry.
Export tractor sales in October 2025 were recorded at 375 units, registering a growth of 38.4% compared to 271 tractors exported in October 2024.
