Durgesh C Sharma will now supervise the organization's strategy, interact with numerous stakeholders, and influence public policy.

Sharma has over 26 years of expertise administering large-scale multi-stakeholder participatory programs, creative Public Private Partnership projects, and court proceedings and interventions. His specialty is in the food and agribusiness industries.
His previous position was as Director General of an industry organization. He has played a key role in numerous interventions with different Indian government ministries, including the ministries of agriculture and chemicals and fertilizers.

For many reputable companies, including Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd., and Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd., to name a few, Durgesh has served in leadership and senior advisory capacities. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in agriculture from Pantnagar's G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology and his management degree from Symbiosis in Pune.
