Agro Chem Federation of India (ACFI) is a Non-Profit Organization, which is registered under the Society Registration Act, effective June 6, 2017. ACFI is an industry body representing manufacturers/importers of technical & formulation of the pesticides at PAN India Level.
ACFI has partnered with many Academic Institutions, Farmer Associations, Associated Government & Non-Government Organizations, etc. They work in the interest of farmers by educating them about the Plant Protection Chemicals (Pesticides) for higher yields & better quality of agricultural produce of different crops, involving right dose, timely & appropriate application methodology, and the use of PPEs.
About Dr. Kalyan Goswami, Director-General
Dr. Kalyan Goswami, Director General of Agro Chem Federation of India. He has completed his higher studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University & the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (New Delhi). He was in West Bengal Civil Service (Group-I), however, his passion for Science drove him towards starting his own career as a Research Scientist (Biotechnology) in Ranbaxy Laboratory. After spending an enriching time in Biotech Research, he forayed into Administration, Government Affairs, Policy intervention, Skill Development, Capacity Building Etc.
He has extensively worked in the field of Agriculture, Healthcare, Food Processing, Biotechnology, and Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. He also got the opportunity to work under strong Policymakers and brilliant administrators of this country.
Discussion with Director General & General Manager of ACIF
In a discussion with Dr. Kalyan Goswami, Director General & Girish Ahuja, General Manager of Agro Chem Federation of India (ACFI), Krishi Jagran came to know about how effectively they are planning & working on the burning issues related to Agro Chemicals & Agro Chemical Industries.
