In their continued efforts to transform the Agri sector with sustainable, scalable and effective solutions that provide full-stack agri support to micro-entrepreneurs, DeHaat and the FDRVC signed a non-commercial MoU at the FDRVC Headquarters in New Delhi.
Recognized and felicitated by platforms such as NASSCOM, Forbes, ET, Niti Ayog and Bill Gates Foundation, DeHaat services 700,000+ farmers, micro-entrepreneurs, and farming businesses across the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra etc. while Foundation for Development of Rural Value Chains (FDRVC ) is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development and Tata Trusts launched in 2019, a not-for-profit autonomous organization, working towards the betterment of the farming communities in the nation through multiple large-scale Producer Enterprises.
Expressing his views on the collaboration, Shashank Kumar - CEO and Co-Founder of DeHaat said - "The MoU will serve as a roadmap for both the organizations to provide the best of services right from crop advisory, warehousing, digitalization market linkage support to FPOs or Farmer Producer Organizations helping them scale their agri-businesses and move towards building a more sustainable livelihood.”

We hope that this partnership will help connect thousands of women farmers under SHG fold with agri service providers, input suppliers and buyers. Together FDRVC and DeHaat are looking forward to creating an interactive ecosystem for women farmers to harness their true potential."
Objective of the MoU:

The MoU will enable DeHaatand FDRVC together to support and facilitate operations that will improve the profitability of these FPOs via value realization and provide them with financial support through partner organizations.

FDRVC will specifically indulge in promoting engagements between DeHaatand producer enterprises by identifying potential business opportunities for producer enterprises to utilize the services of DeHaat for better market linkages. FDRVC will also coordinate with these producer enterprises to aggregate the demand of Agri-Inputs and will work towards delivering demand aggregation of producer enterprises for input, crop and agriculture advisory services.

DeHaat on the other hand will facilitate market tie-ups and supply for inputs, and procurement services for outputs with priority to output marketing.

DeHaat’smain agenda will be to establish a system for sustained input and output marketing in each producer company.

DeHaatwill also offer services of output linkage in select geographies and will cover all or select offerings on a case-to-case basis from FPOs promoted or supported by the FDRVC.
