Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd., a group company of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Japan and a leading crop protection products company launched its Village outreach initiative under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Madhya Pradesh.
Plantation Drive:
Deputy Director Agriculture, Agar Malwa, Anil Kumar Tiwari today planted a Baheda (Terminalia belarica) tree in village Pacheti,Taluka Nalkhera of Agar Malwa District (MP) and inaugurated the tree plantation drive organised by the company. On this occasion, over 100 trees were planted in the village. The company will carry out this program in 4 other villages and plant about 400 more trees.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kumar Tiwari emphasized the role of trees in conserving the soil and helping in fight against pollution. He advised the farmers for soil health management and selection of good seeds. He lauded the company for this noble initiative and assured full support in farmer-oriented programs under this project
Bharat Certis AgriScience Adopted 5 Villages in MP:
The company has adopted 5 villages in MP under its CSR program. Apart from tree plantation, the company will work on imparting training by experts to farmers on best practices of Agriculture and safe use of pesticides. It will also take initiatives related to healthcare of villagers and education of children. Other projects will be added from time to time based on the local needs.

Event Highlights:
The meeting was attended by senior scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendra- Agar Malwa, Dr. RPS Shaktawat and Dr. Rupendra Khandwe. They also gave useful tips to the farmers and distributed Moringa saplings and vegetable seeds free of cost from KVK.
The program was presided over by the AVP, Bharat Certis AgriSciences Ltd., S.S. Jawla. Other company officials L.K.Tyagi, Vinod Sikarwar, Sudhanshu Srivastava and Rakesh Kumar Nirmal were instrumental in the execution of the whole event.
This meeting was attended by over 250 farmers from the beneficiary villages Pacheti and nearby villages. Farmers were happy with the social initiatives taken being undertaken by the company and felt that it will contribute to the well-being of the area.
